Myriad is currenlty looking for a GLP Lab Research Associate I/II 

 

Myriad is a leading biopharmaceutical company. Our strategy is to develop novel healthcare products in areas of critical need and to address some of the most pervasive diseases of our time. We offer a range of cancer predictive medicine products and are developing therapeutics that include drug candidates in the areas of Alzheimer's disease and cancer.

 

This position will analyze bioanalytical samples generated by clinical and nonclinical protocols; conduct laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration programs; process, evaluate, and report bioanalytical data; and maintaining a reference standard program.  Successful applicant will assist in maintaining the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) bioanalytical laboratory on a day to day basis.  Design and implement systems to produce reliable bioanalytical and pharmacokinetic data.  Responsible for maintenance, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of specific analytical equipment.  Maintains logs and required documentation for instruments, experimental samples, and reference standards.  Works on complex assignments that are diverse in nature where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.  Demonstrates potential for success in technical proficiency, scientific creativity, and collaboration with others and independent thought.  Normally receives few or no instructions on routine work and only general instructions on new assignments.

Minimum Requirements:

This position requires a B.S or M.S. degree in natural sciences or related scientific discipline, or equivalent and 3 to 8 years of laboratory experience.  A qualified individual must be willing to take initiative in planning and problem solving.  Must have GLP or other experience working in a regulated environment.

Preferred Skills:

Excellent organization and documentation skills, HPLC, and/or LC/MS experience would be a plus as well as working in a high throughput bioanalytical laboratory in a regulated environment.
