KIK LOS ANGELES located in City of Industry, CA procures, blends, fills and packages a wide variety of aerosol and liquid personal care products.
We are seeking an outgoing, energetic, experienced and technically talented GMP COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR who will lead and coordinate cGMP Compliance requirements for all facility disciplines. The successful candidate will be technically competent, creative, enjoy working with people, have excellent communication, and be committed to getting results. This position has the potential to grow, and is an excellent opportunity for a people-oriented compliance expert.
ADDITIONAL CAPABILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS FOR SUCCESS:Oversee and coordinate Change Control System and Corrective/Preventive action systems.Coordinate and lead OOS Non-Conformance investigations.Review, maintain and approve documentation related to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and CGMP Control.Coordinate and prepare documents/protocols for all process validations and maintain process within compliance.Coordinate internal/external audits related to Quality systems and key elements.Coordinate and lead annual general CGMP training program assuring all employees receive required training.Assist Quality Assurance managers in Compliance related to Batch packets, release procedures, and overall process quality.Submit a monthly report to the Technical Director of activities and projectsPerform other duties and assignments as defined by the Technical Director or his designate.
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS: BS Degree in Science or Related Technical Field with emphasis in Validation and Compliance.3 plus years of manufacturing experienceGMP Expert is preferred.Experience in Cosmetic Drug/Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, FDA CGMP Regulations, 1S0-9000, and/or combination of experience and education equivalencies.Effective/articulate interpersonal communication skills - both verbal and writtenAbility to interact in a positive and professional manner with customers, suppliers, and plant personnel at all levels as well as in groups.Outgoing personality, inquisitive, high initiative.Effective organization/planning/time-management skills.Knowledgeable in consumer goods manufacturing including pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and foods.Team player with continuous improvement skills.
