Leads a global team of Project Liaison Managers Responsible for strategic allocation and long-term allocations planning for clinical trials and projects Ensure that following tasks are carried out by PLMs:o Provide input to clinical development plans regarding timelines and study feasibility.o Allocate Phase I IVa studies for all oncology projects.o Determine external clinical trial costs and internal monitoring resources for assigned projects. Negotiate trial costs with the CPOs. Monitor resource requirement.o Ensure planned recruitment targets are achieved. Develop, implement and track trial recruitment strategies for assigned studies, present at investigator meetings as required.o Act as Clinical Operations representative at the ICT, CTT and ORC, providing input on trial practicality and placement, planned number of sites, enrollment periods, timelines, etc.o Work with BU Oncology to define resource requirements for projects/protocols.o Provide feedback to the clinical team on the impact of changes to project status, timelines and resourcing.o Track progress of clinical projects. Responsible for updating the CO and CD&MA planning and tracking systems.o Responsible for close interaction with clinical team memberso Provide support to CTL when representing clinical team at internal meetings/boards.o Collaborate closely with the clinical team to develop and maintain the monitoring plan.o Liaise between clinical trial teams and countriesQualifications5-7 years directly related experienceMinimum bachelors degre in science related field, advanced degree preferredtravel up to 10% Novartis is committed to embracing and leveraging diverse backgrounds.
