Our aim is to attract high potential talent to our organization and then grow that talent through training, on the job experience, stretch assignments and personal development.The Global IT Category Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of effective strategies to manage assigned categories and projects to achieve value improvement goals. This role will focus on sourcing projects within the Global IT Category to deliver value improvements in line with NITAS (IT Department) strategy through market analysis and evaluation and supplier negotiation. The Strategic Sourcing Manager will work to establish supplier performance metrics and develop risk management plans; makes decisions with internal partners on indirect sourcing Assurance of Supply, Quality, Service, Cost, Innovation, and Regulatory (AQSCIR) terms for the lowest total cost of ownership.Primary Responsibilities: Contribute to the development of the IT sourcing strategy for NITAS Lead and manage the strategic sourcing activity on key IT projects, including development and stakeholder sign off Source Plans. Identify and manage relationships with key IT and functional stakeholders across NITAS and Finance Identify, analyze and manage delivery of other sub-category opportunities within the IT category. Develop a baseline cost model for savings capture and tracking Implement Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) processes and performance metrics for key external supplier relationships Interface with other NIBR sites and other Divisional organizations to ensure ongoing compliance to strategies Contribute to the wider IT sourcing network within Novartis.
