Due to our extended growth, we currently have a need for the following position:The Global T&E Manager will be Shire?s liaison responsible for directing and coordinating all aspects of Travel & Expenses including the configuration, maintenance and future rollout implementations of the Travel & Expense system Concur in addition to providing support to NASS and ISS relating to the T&E system. This role will oversee NASS and ISS?s monthly processing, reconciliation, reporting and audit findings of all approved travel expense reports. Oversee the day to day T&E operations.Develop policies and procedures that support Shire?s business objectives and ensure the effective and efficient processing of financial information to support Shire?s global growth. Provide necessary supervision, guidance and mentoring to the T&E staff. Ensure annual career development plans are prepared and reviewed on a quarterly basis.Responsible for managing the configuration of the Concur system globally. Ensuring master data is updated regularly such as cost centers, exchange rates, local mileage rates etc. Maintain and update audit rules in line with company policies.Provide support to both Shared Services departments utilizing Concur in maintenance of the system and efficiency improvements. Act as Shires liaison with Concur for technical support. Advise and communicate all Service updates with new features and benefits of the product.Act as liaison with Citibank for all credit card support and maintenance.Act as main project support for continual rollout of Concur globally, ensuring a standard approach giving due consideration to local requirements.Develop the reporting capabilities, using Concur?s ReportNet, for business requirements. Also, maintain month-end closing procedures and reporting schedules. Support the Senior Manager, NASS & ISS Finance Operations and the GPS Travel Manger in all T&E related areas: Providing Help Desk analysis reports and audit finding from BEW.Other ad hoc project work relating to T&E.Internal & External COntacts:? Shared Services NASS & ISS? Internal Audit Department? Concur - External? Global Procurement Services Travel Management? Bachelors degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.? 2 years experience as a T&E Manager.? Knowledge of the Concur system and the reporting tool; ReportNet. (Knowledge of other Corporate T&E systems is helpful and could be considered)? Knowledge of SAP? Drive and commitment ability to work on own initiative under pressure ? Open and communicative ability to interact at all levels? Requires strong attention to detail in composing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, scheduling and meeting deadlines. ? Building relationships with global travelers at all levels within the corporation will be a key success factor for this position.? This individual will be involved in cross-functional teams supporting Corporate and Departmental business initiatives. This will require the ability to generate ideas, engage in effective discussion and collaborate with fellow employees from other functional areas.? Drive and commitment ability to work on own initiative under pressure ? Open and communicative ability to interact at all levels? Requires strong attention to detail in composing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, scheduling and meeting deadlines. ?
