We are currently recruiting for the following position:

 

Group Leader - Validation

 

Responsibilities: Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:

Provide leadership, support, and direction to 5-15 Associates and Professionals, effectively communicating with staff to set priorities and manage project efforts; serve as a liaison between staff, other departments and management to assure accomplishment of Validation goals and provide a cohesive, team-orientated environment; responsible for departmental scheduling, training, and planning and leading meetings, as appropriate; conduct documentation reviews, and author SOPs/POLs and other Validation documentation, as needed; demonstrates skills in communicating (oral and written) effectively with diverse individuals/groups; facilitating trust, understanding, growth and continuous improvement; and developing effective empowering and enabling employee, business and customer relationships; and supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws to include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

 

Qualifications: Individual must have a BS / MS / HS / GED and 3 years of relevant experience, including 1-2 years supervisory experience with applicable certifications.

Additionally, having the ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule which includes, but is not limited to, evenings, weekends, extended shifts and/or extra shifts, sometimes on short notice; and having the ability to work under specific time restraints is expected.
