HEALTHCARE SALES CONSULTANT

SUMMARY



An innovative and fast-growing healthcare service company is seeking a seasoned sales professional with a consistent and proven track record of setting goals, achieving and exceeding sales targets, and seeking and finding new business opportunities.  The ideal candidate will have experience selling to various healthcare insurance-related groups including brokers, benefit consultants, resellers, carriers, third party administrators, and associations.  The individual will be responsible for all sales activities in assigned accounts or territory with a significant portion of the activities involving telephone sales with pre-qualified clients.

 

Compensation will include a competitive base plus commissions, performance bonus, and an extensive benefits package including fully-paid medical, dental, and vision.  There is also paid parking and paid lunches – all in a dynamic and fun office environment with a great location on beautiful Lincoln Road in Miami Beach, FL.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

· Present and sell company’s services to current and potential clients

· Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made

· Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity

· Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned

· Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts

· Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge

· Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships

· Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals

· Communicate innovative product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff

· Participate in marketing events such as professional seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events

 

 

REQUIREMENTS



· Minimum 3 years of sales experience (ideally)

· Telesales experience a plus

· Experience in sales of healthcare products or services a plus

· Bachelors Degree

· Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, self-directed, and able to effectively and efficiently multi-task

· Ability to establish rapport in person as well via e-mail and phone conversations

· Ability to develop and deliver presentations

· Ability to persuade and influence others

· Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

· Work will involve local travel and may require occasional overnight travel and weekend/evening work
