HR Manager, Global Operations

Position Objective:Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources for Corporate Functions, this position will provide consultative HR support to client areas in the Global Operations organization including Global Sourcing, Planning and Quality, Functional Excellence. This key HR role is responsible for aligning the HR processes and systems to the overall business strategy and the evolutionary phases the organization will go through during planning, execution, and realization. Human resources support and leadership will be provided to the Global Operations team in the areas of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, talent assessment and development, diversity and inclusion, equal employment opportunity and management and leadership consultation. HR Manager will participate on the Global Operations Senior Leadership team.Essential Functions: Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited: - Organizational Development- Change Leadership Performance Management - Career Development - Employee Relations - Talent Acquisition Education: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or other related discipline, or the equivalent knowledge and experience is required. Professional certification in Human Resources and/or graduate coursework preferred. Experience: - Minimum of 5 years applicable human resources experience - Demonstrated ability to develop strong business relationships and influence without authority- Required knowledge/experience of: human resources laws and regulations, performance management processes, career systems, compensation.- Demonstrated ability to create and execute organizational capability strategies that drive business results - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines - Excellent leadership, project management, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills - The ability to manage and make decisions in an independent environment - Strong change management skillsInvitrogen is proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse and inclusive workforce.
