HR/Organization Effectiveness Director

Summary
The HR/OE Director will provide HR business partnership and leadership for all managers and associates within the Corporate Site Departments. Act as HR generalist leader managing the effective implementation and delivery of business focused HR solutions that enable and support business growth. Develop an effective and integrated HR strategy for advancing the business plans and objectives. Implement organizational effectiveness tools that generate value added, fact-based recommendations. Act as facilitator/consultant on key organization or department project/process improvement teams to ensure project deliverables and success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Diagnose and recommend solutions to complex business, people and organizational issues which extend across the various client groups consistent with organization business needs and cross functional business initiatives. Initial point of contact for HR/people issues involving all HR generalist support including workforce planning/recruiting, performance management, organizational development, employee relations, talent management, salary planning and change management. Provide coaching and consultation to the organization on strategic projects and on people related issues; support employee relations and general communications coaching to senior leaders, challenging leaders to have timely critical conversations and to appropriately handle conflict. Support two HR Generalists.

Education/Skills/Experience
Bachelors degree required, Master Degree in HR/OD strongly preferredPrefer experience in a top tier company utilizing state-of-the-art HR/OE best practices and techniques.
Biotech/Medical Device/Pharmaceutical industry experience would be a plus.Minimum 10 -12 years of progressive experience and responsibility for HR or OD/OE programs. Experience and certification in various OD tools (Myers Briggs, Linkage, Lominger, etc.) preferred.Broad HR functional, technical knowledge and expertise. Particularly in several functional areas such as Organization Development/Effectiveness, Workforce Planning, Talent Management, Staffing, Learning and Development, Employee Relations and Compensation.High level of consultative, collaboration and teamwork abilities with capacity for leveraging the involvement of key stakeholders and opinion leaders in the design and implementation of significant HR initiatives and solutions.Ability to partner with client groups and other members of the HR team in managing efficient rollout of all HR/Talent Management initiatives. Business acumen and organizational diagnostic ability, able to develop in depth understanding of how business gets done at the major organizational level with strong working knowledge of key business processes/drivers.Conceptual, analytic, and systems thinking abilities, able to identify essential issues.
