HRIS Analyst

Reporting to the Sr HRIS Business Analyst, the HRIS Analyst will be responsible for oversight of data integrity, first level support, and process improvement for several HRIS platforms.  As such, this role will contribute to HR goals by liaising with IS regularly.  The HRIS Analyst will also support HRIS project work and HRIS reporting needs. Job Responsibilities Support and maintain multiple Human Resources Information System (HRIS) platforms. Champion data integrity for the HRIS function. Provide level 1 support for HRIS including but not limited to researching and resolving HRIS problems; unexpected results or process flaws; liaising with IS level 2 support; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Liaise between HR users and Information Services (IS) for technical requests. Review, test, and facilitate the implementation of HRIS upgrades and patches. Analyze data flows for process improvement opportunities and recommend improvements, innovative solutions, or policy changes. Support new system implementation and rollout. Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.  Assist in development of standard reports of ongoing customer needs. Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation of systems and HR processes. Provide system training to new and existing systems.Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience. Two or more years of HRIS or HR generalist or specialist experience. One to two years of project management and systems implementation experience. Strong understanding of HR processes and data including but not limited to benefits eligibility and enrollment rules; recruiting; compensation surveys and market pricing; affirmative action reporting. Knowledge or reporting concepts and tools. Strong understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions and processes along with experience with database tools. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong abilities at problem solving and critical thinking. Attention to detail. Ability to effectively translate and communicate needs of HR staff to  specifications for Information Services. Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Previous exposure to HRIS including but not limited to Applicant Tracking Systems, Benefits Portals, Learning Management Systems, and Market Pricing Systems. HR certification (PHR/SPHR or HRIS related). Project Management certification (PMP/CAPM).
