Health Care Compliance Manager - (Job Number: 0805705) DescriptionThis position is responsible for administering the Health Care Compliance programs at DePuy Spine and JJRT. The manager will oversee the creation of new DePuy Spine and JJRT HCC policies and modification of existing policies based on guidance from J&J and other sources; conduct HCC training for new hires, existing employees, and sales representatives; extensive business partnering and participation on appropriate committees to review proposed activities from an HCC perspective; support the testing and monitoring of HCC transactions; periodic presentations to senior management; administration of the two companies' Privacy policies; and other duties relating to the two companies' HCC programs. The manager will work with business partners and the HCC Director-NBA to more fully execute the company's Needs Based Assessment, which documents the need for billable collaborations with health care professionals, and partner with colleagues at DePuy Orthopaedics to understand more fully the other requirements of the recent settlement agreements with Orthopaedics and their impact to DePuy Spine and JJRT. This position also may partner with colleagues in the J&J Worldwide Office of Health Care Compliance and Privacy and other J&J operating companies on cross-company HCC teams. The position is an individual contributor and requires occasional travel, generally within the United States. A bachelor's degree in business administration or other appropriate discipline is required. A law or master's degree is preferred. A minimum of 7 years of experience in Healthcare Compliance (HCC), Finance, and/or other business aspects related to medical devices is required, along with a basic working knowledge of HCC principles. Excellent interpersonal, business partnering, and written and verbal communications skills are a must. Ability to gather and analyze information, make recommendations and execute projects is essential. Negotiation and influencing skills preferred.
