These positions are Temp-to-Hire, with the possibility of Direct Hire for the ideal candidate.This position will be responsible for, but not limited to: ' With limited supervision, perform and document standardized testing, and non routine testing and experiments within the QC laboratories in support of raw material, in process, final drug product, customer complaint testing and validation protocols' Assure individual compliance with DEA and FDA regulations, cGMPs and QC laboratory programs, including training, documentation, and SOPs' Prepare and maintain standard and sample solutions as required by test methods' Operates general analytical instruments during testing (i.e. HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR)' Performs wet Chemistry tests (i.e. LOD, pH, titrations)' Maintains appropriate documentation as required by laboratory SOPs' Performs peer review of other Chemist's work' Performs compliance investigations' Using applied knowledge of analytical methodologies, troubleshoots and solves problems related to analytical test methods and laboratory instruments' Provides technical leadership, and as a qualified trainer, coaches and trains peers' Take supervisory role in the absence of the QA/QC Manager' Complies with good housekeeping and safety proceduresOur client requires the following experience and qualifications:' BS in Chemistry or related science from an accredited college or university ' Minimum of 5-8 years related laboratory work experience in a regulated laboratory, preferably pharmaceutical environment. ' MUST have strong wet chemistry skills' MUST have strong GC experience ' Knowledge of QC systems, DEA, FDA, GMP, and GLP' Good oral and written communication skills' Demonstrated good judgment, analytical, and decision making skills' Demonstrated professional leadership skills while working as a team member' Must be able to work under pressure and meet designated time lines ' Proficiency with PC-based office computers, including familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel required*Local candidates only - no relocation assistance provided If you are qualified for these positions at any of the levels stated above, please APPLY today by clicking the APPLY ONLINE or APPLY NOW button.
