We have a Senior Human Resources Specialist opportunity available at our Orange County, CA facility. Selected candidate will provide general human resource support for a division or operation sub unit(s) sites and participate with line and senior managers to coordinate strategic and operating plans and objectives.

 

This individual will implement, modify and execute company human resource policies, programs and practices, provide counsel and assistance to all levels of staff on management and employee issues, company human resources policies, practices and employment law and interact with management on sensitive matters requiring skillful negotiation and influencing.

 

This individual will attend meetings to support key initiatives through workforce planning and change management, coache managers and supervisors on leadership behaviors, provide guidance related to performance management, conduct training when needed, drive recruitment of non-exempt and exempt positions and participate in coordination of Rewards and Recognition programs.

 

Education:

- Bachelor degree required with a minimum of 3 years experience in staffing, employee relations, training, and compensation (e.g. support of pay programs).

 

Key competencies would include:

Technical know how, strong analytical and judgment skills, effective communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal), customer focus, and the ability to work as a team player.

- Assist with financial management such as budgeting, FTE and staffing analysis, compensation issues, productivity initiatives, etc.

- Work with HR Operations and Legal to ensure compliance with legal & regulatory requirements to mitigate risk.

 

MUST BE ABLE TO RELOCATE TO ANY BECKMAN COULTER FACILITY OUTSIDE OF THE ORANGE COUNTY AREA WITHIN 1-2 YEARS OF JOINING THE BECKMAN COULTER TEAM.
