Human Resources Manager
Reckitt Benckiser North America - a leading manufacturer of home products is searching for a new member of a dynamic HR team. Reporting directly to the plant manager and becoming a valuable member of the Brandon, Mississippi Manufacturing leadership team the ideal candidate will act as a change agent and true Strategic Business Partner in a generalist HR role. We seek an HR professional with manufacturing and/or plant experience, who is searching for an opportunity to implement change, foster new ideas and position this facility towards the future. Our Plant Manager is not only searching for an HR expert, but a business professional as well.
Full relocation will be provided to the right individual
Duties include:Develop and implement a Plant HR strategy for Brandon that is aligned to the Regional & Global HR strategy.Serve as a key member and an advisor to the Plant Leadership Team. Partner closely with the Plant Manager not only as an HR leader but a business professional. Participate in Supply HR initiatives with other Plant HR Managers. Provides coaching and execution support to management on people issues. Oversees all people management processes for Supply function (e.g. hiring, training, compensation and benefits, promotions, HR communications etc.). Proactively leads the talent assessment process, supporting succession planning and career planning activities of top talent and performance management. Provides input into Regional HR policy development and sharing of best practices. Ensures that training and development planning and implementation supports real business needs and that the business is developing a strong bench of talent for local and international opportunities. Implement a clear strategy for Employee Communication through the year across the Supply organization and other impacted parts of the total business.
Act as the regional lead for EEO compliance. Local travel may be required as dictated by business needs.BA/BS in Business or other related degree. MBA a plus Proactive, results-oriented businessperson with a successful career track in human resources; experience in a global consumer packaged goods environment preferred. Must be able to work independently with minimal direction — takes initiative, is a self starter and is proficient at establishing internal relationships. Proven leadership, communication and project management skills. Ability to be flexible, adapt quickly to changing circumstances and develop creative solutions while building consensus among different functional groups. Five to seven years experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing setting with full HR Generalist responsibilities (Recruitment, OD, Compensation, Benefits, etc.)
