IACUC Coordinator

Incumbent will be responsible for coordinating IACUC functions and for the IACUC review process.  Generate reports for semi-annual facility inspections, program reviews and maintain IACUC databases.  Recordkeeping, regulatory reporting and maintaining documentation for regulatory accreditation and licensure.  Perform administrative functions for the Laboratory Animal Medicine department. 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

3-5 years administrative experience preferably in a laboratory animal environment.  Computer skills in MS Office Suite utilizing and creating tables, macros, etc.  Knowledge of USDA regulations, AWA, PHS policy, AAALAC regulations and “the Guide” preferred.  Must be a self starter with multi-tasking ability and able to work independently.  Excellent written and computer skills.
