IT Business Relationship Director - (Job Number: 0804902) DescriptionOrtho-Clinical Diagnostics, Inc. a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of companies is currently recruiting for an IT Business Relationship Director, located in Raritan, NJ. The IT Business Relationship Director will be a customer-facing role, primarily accountable for establishing and maintaining the productive and value driven relationship between Information Technology and the business community. Specifically this board level role will be responsible for the following major business organizations: Sales, WW Marketing, Customer Technical Service, WW Ops, and Quality & Regulatory Compliance. In addition, this board level position will sit on the Global Management Team of Veridex, LLC'part of the OCD Franchise. In support of driving OCD's core business and new medical content, the IT Business Relationship Director will identify and drive prioritization of IT-related projects, ensuring scarce IT resources are directed towards the drivers of profitable growth, compliance & organizational efficiencies. The incumbent will ensure the business will also assume responsibility for the choices made in the IT portfolio. The person will work with the senior leadership team members of the business he/she supports, will help drive the business strategy and will then help the business understand how new or available technology or process changes will enable their business. BRD and BRM team will lead the development/delivery of the corresponding IT strategy. During business planning, the IT Business Relationship Director and his/her team will work within the IT and Finance process to set clear direction for IT programs that will be executed in the following year, in alignment with resource capacity and funding. The incumbent will be responsible for providing service catalog information, SLA and produce regular portfolio status and IT achievements to the business partner. The IT Business Relationship Director will need to demonstrate advanced capability to work credibly at a senior business level, and be able to anticipate, understand and respond with strategic business challenges and how IT can help solve them. The IT Business Relationship Director will facilitate the intake of projects and IT service requests in the strictest alignment with priorities/value and resource capacity. This includes understanding requirements, facilitating the development of alternative solutions, the preparation of proposals and portfolio oversight of projects. The incumbent will provide business insight back to delivery teams for the development and improvement of services. The IT Business Relationship Director will be responsible for preparing annual financial business plans (demand plans) and revisions as well as tracking and reporting on results (portfolio reports). The incumbent will participate with the business on cost improvement initiatives as it relates to the use of IT solutions. The IT Business Relationship Director will set appropriate expectations with business partner, becoming a #8216;trusted advisor' and develop action plans to correct problems. The incumbent will appropriately balance demand for short-term projects with resource needs for longer-term solutions. In addition, the IT Business Relationship Director will manage a team of relationship managers that are responsible for specific business partners in the franchise. The incumbent will provide high-level leadership for program delivery teams that has been formed to meet the needs of the business. This person will ensure that IT architectural and business compliance requirements are understood and met for the business. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. A Master's degree is preferred. A minimum 12 years of IT experience with a solid background in project/program execution and management is required. Commercial (Sales, Marketing, and/or Customer Technical Service) business processes experience is required. Global Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience is preferred. Change Management experience is preferred. Supply Chain Management experience is preferred. Quality & Compliance processes experience is preferred. Experience with customer orientation with the ability to manage senior level relationships is required. Demonstrated skills in managing teams to high performance and developing leaders are required. Excellent communication (listening, speaking, presenting) skills are required. The ability to focus communications at the right level, with the right impact, setting appropriate expectations to ensure delight and avoid dissatisfaction is required. Experience creating Capital Appropriation Requests (CAR's) as needed, and manage business-planning process, representing business partner needs to the IT organization is required. A demonstrated ability to build superior collaboration and teamwork across peer IT organizations is required.
