To assist us with the growth of our contact lens business, we are seeking an IT DIRECTOR to support our NORTH AMERICA business. This position will report to J&J Vision Care World Wide Vice President for IT. Responsibilities include: Overall responsibility to our North America Sales and Marketing functions. Establish solid relationships from VP to Manager levels within the North America Sales and Marketing functions. Bring new technologies to this group focused on growth and expansion opportunities. Facilitate the continuous improvement of current systems utilization and deployment. Demonstrate ability to pursue innovative solutions and challenge the current status quo. Be responsive and engaged at all levels as well as be proactive in business enablement with technology opportunities. Provide input into the development of long term strategic objectives. In depth technology experience in a developed and aggressive Sales and Marketing Business. Very strong SAP, ERP, customer relationship management software, sales force effectivness software, ebusiness, "e" knowledge and experience, at a senior consulting / multi industry experienced level in this field. Broad supply chain and finance knowledge. Excellent communication and executive presence. Proven track record within a sales and marketing organization. This person must be able to walk and talk the same langauge. Enquiring mind and willingness to challenge the processs and question the current status quo. International experience in sales and marketing functions from the IT side a distinct advantage. Previous healthcare and or related company experience would be a plus. Technology focused Sales and marketing experience from a service industry and or advertising sector would be a plus. A Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with a minimum of 10 years experience or a minimum of 8 years experience with an advanced degree is required. A minimum of 6 years experience supporting a developed and aggressive Sales and Marketing Organization is required. A minimum of 6 years experience in a strong SAP CRM, eBusiness environment is required. A proven track record of delivering on commitments within timeline and budget is required. A proven track record supporting a sales and marketing organization. Proven leadership skills are required. Strong collaboration skills and communication skills are required. International experience in sales and marketing functions from the IT side is preferred. Previous healthcare and or related company experience is preferred. This position requires up to 15% Domestic and International travel.
