IT Helpdesk Support Specialist (contract position)

If this is you, we would like to hear from you!   IT Helpdesk Support Specialist  • Responsible for day-to-day support of local and remote end-user systems and applications. • Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving end-user hardware issues. • Responsible for Microsoft Office, 3rd party and custom software applications support. • Configure, deploy and support desktop, laptop and lab systems. • Responsible for Antivirus server monitoring. • First level Network Troubleshooting. • Manage and Process helpdesk requests through ticketing system in a timely manner.  Position Requirements: • Associate or Bachelor degree. • 3+ years experience. • CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certifications a plus. • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP operating system. • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003/2007. • Experience with multi vendor hardware troubleshooting and repair. • Familiarity with Windows Server 2000/2003 and Active Directory. • Excellent people and team working skills. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Strong problem solving and research capabilities. • Strong documentation skills.
