The IT Lead, CTMS Integration will be the technical lead for the Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) integration group at Global Clinical Operations (GCO). This individual will implement enhancements to existing WebMethods integrations and design new integrations to implement the GCO data exchange architecture roadmap on the existing Johnson & Johnson WebMethods integration platform. The IT Lead will build and maintain deep technical expertise in Johnson & Johnson#8216;s Web integration platform, both in the core platform technology (WebMethods) as well as integrations to various platforms such as Siebel, Integrated Voice Response Systems, Electronic Data Capture systems, Ariba, SAP and OPX2. Provide technology leadership on the operations, support, maintenance and development of data exchange solutions on for GCO on the Johnson & Johnson Web Integration platform. Build, maintain and exploit network of Technology expertise with similar positions and departments at Johnson & Johnson (i.e. Global Services, Information Technology Services), with software vendors (WebMethods) and with Johnson & Johnson qualified suppliers of Information Technology (IT) services. Serve as the technical point of contact for software vendor. Recruit and develop high performing technical development team for Johnson & Johnson#8216;s web integration platform for GCO. Adapt to changing landscape, priority shifts and agility to assume a variety of project team roles. Develop technical design for development of IT solutions on Johnson & Johnson#8216;s web integration platform for GCO. Plan for delivery of the solutions, and assume responsibility for developing solution in accordance with plan (time, quality, cost). Effectively provide written and verbal communications such as project progress reports. Lead WebMethods development teams implementing projects of medium to large complexity, following Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and in compliance with Computer Systems Validation (CSV). Perform technical reviews of WebMethods code to ensure consistency and supportability. Identify test scenarios, develop test scripts, execute test plans and coordinate issue resolution. Deliver multiple project assignments concurrently. Provide coaching to junior team members. Partner with ITS platform owner to ensure successful deployment, compliance with integration standards and support services. Translate business requirements into technical solutions and assess technology impact of business system user requirements. Conversely, translate technology issues and technology options to impact on business system users. Partner with business system users on assessing and evaluating technology solutions. Contribute technology innovation towards increasing efficiency and effectiveness of clinical trials management and drug development, reducing data duplication and re-entry, implementing a "once and done" IT environment. Develop and earn role of "trusted advisor" on data exchange in clinical trials management and drug development. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Information Management or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of IT experience is required. A minimum of 3 years of experience supporting Drug Development solutions is required. A minimum of 3 years of experience with WebMethods is required. WebMethods certification is preferred. Project Management experience preferred. Experience with Oracle and SQL required. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously is required. Experience leading technical teams preferred. Experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) preferred. Experience with Computer Systems Validation (CSV) preferred. Experience collaborating with external suppliers preferred. Experience collaborating with offshore teams preferred. 5% domestic travel required.
