The portfolio includes heritage brands JOHNSON'S and BAND-AID Brands, as well as leading skin care brands such as AVEENO and CLEAN & CLEAR. The IT Lead, Global Market and Product Development will play an integral role in execution of global projects in the areas of Product Lifecycle Management and New Product Development. He/she needs to be a technology leader to drive results. The successful candidate will become part of the IT Global Market and Product Development organization, responsible for being a hands-on technical professional, as well as interfacing and managing tactical and strategic relationships with business partners. This opportunity involves providing oversight and direction for multiple projects, ensuring planning, implementing, and supporting a wide variety of IT applications and processes related to Product Development across the Johnson & Johnson Group of Consumer Companies. The GBUs supported include: Consumer Healthcare, OTC, Beauty, and Baby. Brands include: Tylenol, Listerine, Imodium, Purell, Sudafed, Bengay, Clean & Clear, Johnson's Baby, Band-Aid, Neutrogena, etc. The IT Lead, Global Market and Product Development will build and maintain strong relationships with client area(s). Drive strategic initiatives, programs or projects. Identify, research and validate innovative solutions applying the concepts of appropriate methodologies. Anticipate and resolve issues/barriers that impede progress (e.g. one process, one system across GBUs). Provide written and verbal communication including status reports, progress reports and documentation to IT management and business partners. Meet or exceed customer requirements with respect to time, cost efficiency & business value. Manage multiple projects to scope, budget, schedule and resources. Ensure and/or develop appropriate methodologies, policies and procedures to deliver business solutions. Apply superior knowledge of industry and competitive environment in all facets of daily job functions. Qualified applicants must possess a minimum of a BA/BS degree in a relevant technical discipline; an advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of 5 years Information Technology experience is required. Strong technical and project management skills, as well as effective risk analysis and decision-making skills, are required. Working knowledge of Product Development software related to the Consumer Products Goods (CPG) industry is preferred. Experience in software tools targeted for R&D, Optiva, MS Development tools, CAD, SAP and/or Middleware systems is preferred. Product Lifecycle Management experience is preferred. A demonstrated knowledge of core application development principles, theories, and concepts (structured approach, system architecture, etc.) is required. Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment is required. Must possess the ability to manage work in accordance with full system lifecycle (SDLC) from concept to production deployment. Exceptional self-initiation and motivation is required. Must possess strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills, as well as exceptional analytical and problem solving skills. Must be self-directed, and possess the ability to determine what it takes to achieve success. A strong willingness to learn, and apply new ideas and technologies is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required. Must possess the ability to work well independently and on team projects. Experience with software validation in GxP regulated environments is preferred. This position will require approximately 20% domestic and international travel.
