IT Lead, Market Research and Development - (Job Number: 0801041) DescriptionJohnson & Johnson Consumer Products Company, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for an IT Lead, Market Research and Development, located in Fort Washington, PA or Skillman, NJ. The IT Lead will be responsible for leading project(s) for the Global Market Research and Development organizations across all GBUs, (Beauty, Baby, Consumer Healthcare and OTC). The IT Lead, Market Research and Development will take an organizational and strategic approach and proactively works with the appropriate service organizations to ensure that the objectives are met, on-time, on-budget and on-quality. The successful candidate also requires knowledge of the Market Research & Development functions with clear understanding of inputs and outputs to other functional areas. The incumbent will need to understand the industry landscape and requirements to be able to provide subject matter expertise working directly with business partners. This person needs to be a thought leader and champion to drive results while partnering and influencing the business teams in the development of the appropriate strategy during the intake/concept phase of the program. The IT Lead will become part of the IT Global Market and Product Development organization, responsible for being hands-on technical leader, as well as interfacing and managing tactical and strategic relationships with business partners. The GBUs supported include: Consumer Healthcare, OTC, Beauty Care, and Baby Care. Each GBU is responsible worldwide for one or more global franchises (e.g. Sanpro, Reach, oral care, wound care, smoking cessation). Brands include: Tylenol, Listerine, Imodium, Purell, Sudafed, Bengay, Clean & Clear, Johnson's Baby, Band-Aid, Neutrogena, etc. A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required. An advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of 6 years of IT experience is required. Hands-on experience supporting Consumer/Market Research (Insights) is required. Hands-on experience supporting Sales /Marketing is preferred. Experience with major quantitative and qualitative custom research techniques is required. The ability to help update changing business practices (given the shift in consumerism) is preferred. Experience with Syndicated data is preferred. Experience with vendor partnerships is required. A minimum of 2 years of hands-on programming experience like Java, .Net, Open Source, etc. is required. Experience with Relational Databases is required. Experience with implementing Global process/systems is preferred. Knowledge of how to apply Web 2.0 tools/techniques to help revolutionize the supported business functions is preferred. Approximately 30% of local travel to Johnson & Johnson owned operating companies located in NJ and PA is required.
