The IT Lead, RTP (Requisition to Pay) SAP Configuration role will be responsible for providing IT leadership to the RTP business for the entire Consumer Sector, including McNeil and Neutrogena. The responsibilities of this role will include the following: Demonstrate an understanding of business partner needs, translate RTP business requirements into technical solutions, partner with the business to evaluate opportunities that add value to the business with IT solutions and assist with prioritization and strategy of the existing application portfolio. The IT Lead, RTP (Requisition to Pay) will manage the configuration and design of SAP components that support RTP requirements. The candidate will lead assignments to build/maintain systems of medium to high complexity. This individual will identify, research and validate innovative solutions applying the concepts of appropriate methodologies and knowledge of Supply Chain and RTP processes: Procurement, Contract Manufacturing, and Supplier Metrics. Additional responsibilities include the following: Interfacing and managing tactical and strategic relationships with business partners; Designing, developing and delivering project solutions to specified requirements on schedule and within budget following appropriate IT methodologies; Developing and reviewing functional specifications for application development objects (interfaces, conversions, enhancements and reports and forms); Coordinating work with supporting teams (e.g. IT Supply, training, data, technical integration and compliance) in development of required deliverables; Interfacing with suppliers and vendors to evaluate software, hardware, or services and make recommendations. The IT Lead, RTP (Requisition to Pay) will also be responsible for interviewing, hiring and managing outside contractors as needed. This individual will apply knowledge of industry and competitive environment in all facets of daily job functions, applying principles, concepts and practices of the A21 Competency Model for the Lead Level. This individual will ensure that J&J information assets are appropriately identified and valued, and are protected by complying with and enforcing all local and worldwide security policies. A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required. A minimum of 5 years of IT and/or related experience is required. A minimum of 1 year SAP related experience, including hands-on configuration and documentation experience is required. Experience implementing RTP solutions is preferred. Knowledge of Supply Chain and RTP processes including: Procurement, Contract Mfg, Supplier Metrics is preferred. Experience in SAP Design and Configuration is preferred. Knowledge of SAP supplier collaboration tools such as ICH and Portals to improve supplier connectivity and collaboration are preferred. The ability to understand the logistics network, Interaction with QM, Internal & External Manufacturing is preferred. Project management and people management experience is required. Hands-on experience with the following technologies is preferred: Documentum and publishing tools, ORACLE, Java, Web Logic, etc. Knowledge of network architecture, Unix, Windows server and client operating environments is preferred. A demonstrated knowledge of core application development principles, theories, and concepts (structured approach, system architecture, etc.) is required. A demonstrated ability to manage work in accordance with full system lifecycle (SDLC) from concept to production deployment is required. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products is required. Approximately 10% of domestic and international travel is required for this position.
