The IT Manager, WW Distribution and Warehouse Management will be responsible for managing all aspects of Distribution and warehouse management systems across global Vision Care; Assisting in driving relevant Distribution and warehouse management projects and strategies. Develop and maintain strong relationships with business personnel in the global Distribution and Warehouse facilities to ensure that IT is integrated in the day to day working and decision-making processes of these areas. Work to ensure that solutions exist to meet the needs of the business in the areas supported. Work with the business leaders to develop IT systems to resolve problems and enable strategies. Work with the Supply Chain IT management team and the business to agree common processes for prioritization of projects and resources. Ensure the development of IT personnel within the Distribution and Warehouse management group in both business and technical skills to create future IT leaders. Work to standardize IT systems across global Vision Care Distribution and warehouse management systems. Be an active member of the overall IT management team in order to develop IT in Vision Care. Be a champion of regulatory and safety compliance as well as the Johnson & Johnson Credo within the IT Distribution and Warehouse Management group and IT as a whole. Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; an advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of 8 years of overall IT experience exhibiting a progression of responsibility and leadership is required. A minimum of 5 years people management experience in an IT environment is required. A minimum of 5 years IT experience in a Supply Chain, Distribution and Logistics environment is required, with a strong focus on SAP, webMethods and Java-based environments. Proven experience working with a global customer partner base and a global solution delivery team is required. Strong SAP, ERP, and "e" knowledge and experience at a solution delivery level is required. Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization is required. Must possess the ability to challenge the process and not be willing to accept the current status quo. Previous healthcare and or related company experience preferred. This position will require approximately 20% domestic and international travel.
