Position Summary:

This position offers the ability to work with our dynamic IT Finance group to lead efforts to implement new applications related to accounting finance treasury and costing functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a success driven Senior/Project Manager professional with accounting forecasting experience to join a fast paced, rapidly growing organization. The successful candidate will provide project management on large complex end-to-end business applications and to identify opportunities for improving business operations through the use of process and information technology.

Responsibilities include: Implement assigned projects following Barr project delivery methodology and general IT philosophies, policies and procedures Lead efforts to implement new applications related to accounting finance treasury and costing functions Manage and lead small and large teams comprised of business IT and vendor resources in delivering solutions Prepare and manage project plans monitor and document status Manage budgets and vendors Manage and develop IT personnel assigned to projects Analyze business requirements and document functional specifications, analyze system requirements, prepare system and program specifications, develop test plans for system and integration testing as well as user acceptance testing Provide technical consulting on complex projects and acts as business expert in assisting users in defining needs Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems, considering computer hardware/software capacity and limitations, process flow, and business goals Prepare and/or approve detailed specifications from which programs will be written Analyze and revise existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary Partner with appropriate business representatives to design efficient processes and policies and proceduresPosition Requirements include: BA/BS degree with major/minor combination of Accounting or Finance and Computer Science or MIS 3 + years project management experience using formal project management methodology, techniques and tools Experience with ERP / SAP project implementation Demonstrates excellent client relationship and collaborative skills Pharmaceutical experience highly desired Experience with accounting forecasting, treasury management and/or costing Global multi-site implementation experience Hyperion knowledge including HFM, FDM, & Reporting preferred Excellent communication skills - both written and verbalCommitment to Excellence - Many companies talk about it.
