Managers are expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including: - Engagement Management: Mobilize and manage engagement teams from planning through execution; contribute to engagement planning and budgeting; define deliverable structure and content; manage engagement economics - Client Management: Manage day to day interactions with client executive management, sponsors, and working groups - Business Development: Develop and maintain key client contacts; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to client account planning; participate in sales calls - Practice Development & Eminence: Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents; develop and deliver training courses - People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; participate in staff recruitment and retention activities - Ability to accommodate client travel up to 100%. - Bachelor's degree, MBA strongly preferred. - 6-8+ years experience with 3-5+ years experience in IT strategy or IT management roles - Excellent written and oral communication skills, including significant experience with executive-level communication - Majority of engagement experience focused on the Media market segment. - Experience in one or more of the following: Digital Asset Management, Content Management Systems, production, post-production, mobile applications, - Digital and Interactive Television, Video On-Demand, CRM, Digital Media Security and Enterprise eCommerce solutions. - A broad understanding of competitive landscape in Media entertainment delivery options as well as key contacts at both industry companies and solutions providers - Significant experience managing / leading complex programs, operations and product launches. - Experience managing mixed teams, including clients and contractors with both business and technical backgrounds (include offshore teams). - Experience managing the career development and performance issues of direct reports. - Experience analyzing, designing and implementing large scale business/technology solutions. - Strong communication experience should include presentation / proposal generation, as well as an ability to interact effectively with people at all levels within a team or client organization. - Very high attention to detail. - Stellar work ethic.
