IT Support Analyst-Temporary, North Wales, PA As a member of the IT Help Desk the selected individual will be responsible for the daily support of users in a Windows client-server environment. The Support Analyst is required to answer user questions in person or via telephone concerning system operation in a knowledgeable and timely fashion. This position responds to end user or management support requests and needs, with the primary focus being customer service and the ability to help, regardless of whether the problem is technical, user error, or training. In this role, the chosen individual will diagnose system hardware, software and operator problems. All major hardware problems will be referred to service personnel for correction in a timely manner. The individual will make sure all PC’s have the latest in virus protection and will support security access issues using Active Directory. The Support Analyst is also responsible for thoroughly documenting all relevant information to the support request ticket in the Help Desk Database. Pursuit of advanced technical knowledge and capability for growth - time management, accountability, and administrative follow up. The selected candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; One to three years’ hands-on experience supporting Windows 2000/XP and MS Office (Excel, Word) are required. Some travel may be necessary, as well as, the willingness to work flexible hours including nights and some weekends. In addition, strong knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications such as, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access) are essential. The proven ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draws valid conclusions as well as the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. This position also requires a strong set of communications skills and customer service experience.
