Implementation Manager 

Implementation Manager is responsible for all aspects of software implementation for clients including the hands on implementation of the software and all associated activities from Kick-off through Production.  Implementation Manager will be managing the client implementation and providing EDC systems design, and best practices consulting.  Implementation Manager will be also responsible for planning and coordination of all project related activities, issues management, and acting as the Client liaison to Project Teams. In addition to management responsibilities, the role will have comprehensive knowledge of the system functionality.

 

As an Implementation Manager, the key to this position is achieving on-time, quality delivery, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Responsibility Overview:

 

· Manages all delivery aspects of the project, including resource requirements, budget awareness, timeline management, scope management, quality and communication of changes to customer expectations.

· Provides Rave functional leadership to the internal project teams and EDC study design consultation to external clients.

· Provide best practices consulting and implementation processes for EDC study design and configuration.

· Consulting support on gathering specification documents, and developing specifications per study protocol.

· Providing configuration support as needed for eCRF and edit check development.

· Coordinate development, build, and QC activities with internal delivery groups to meet client requirements and deliverables on-time.

· Manage issue resolution and escalation following Medidata best practices and methodologies.

· Provide UAT support and deployment support for go-live.

· Communicates project plans, status and issues on a regular basis to team members and management.

· Host project meetings with the client to monitor project progress on a regular basis.

· Being recognized as the subject matter expert in Rave and supporting Rave modules.

· Works with functional departments to ensure proper project integration.

· Ensure sign-offs on all project deliverables and ensures quality of deliverables.

· Maintain high level of customer satisfaction.

 

Qualifications:

· BA/BS Life Sciences or Computer Science degree – required

· 2 years of business analysis and/or technical project management experience -preferred.

· 5 years of combination of clinical, data management and/or related EDC implementation experience – preferred

· Combination education and experience – considered

· PMP/PMI Training/Certification –  preferred

· Ability to translate customer business requirements and/or protocol into specifications or directly into EDC system – preferred.

· Excellent issue recognition and problem solving skills - required.

· Ability to plan, organize and establish priorities to achieve results - required.

· Excellent verbal/written communication, presentation, and organizational skills - required

· Ability to work in a team environment and provide team leadership - required.

· Excellent with MS office suite – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - required

· Experience with MS Project or similar Project Management tool – required

· Ability to travel (25-50% local/international) - required
