Deloitte Consulting's Technology Integration (TI) offerings include: - Systems Development - Business Integration & Optimization - Platform Architecture & Infrastructure - Information Management - IT Strategy & Management Information Management Deloitte Consulting's Information Management (IM) Service Area designs, develops, and implements systems and processes to capture, integrate and distribute information in an enterprise. Our specific service offerings within the IM area include: - Information Strategy & Architecture - Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence - Enterprise Portals - Enterprise Content Management A Manager in the Information Management practice is expected to have the following overall IT and consulting expertise: - Significant experience leading complex technical engagements and team sizes ranging from 10-25 resources. - 8+ years of relevant Portal or Content Management industry or consulting experience - Experience in managing medium to large Portal/ECM projects - Knowledge and/or experience with Portal/ECM capabilities such as Security, Search, Personalization, Internationalization, Categorization, Taxonomy, Messaging, Collaboration, and Publishing - Development of statements of work and/or client proposals - Direct engagement team(s) - Provide oversight support to the development team - Lead or validate the proposed business process model and identify strategy for business readiness - Ensure processes are optimized from end to end and have specific measurable goals - Manage vendor selection and contracts In addition, Managers in the Information Management - Portals and Content Management practice must have the following management/strategy capabilities and technical skills. Management/Strategy Capabilities - Identify business opportunities to increase usability and profitability of portal interface and information architecture - Ability to architect a portal and ECM solution and provide optimization recommendations to portal and content managers - Ability to recommend platform selection and application integration options to clients - Create scalable technology solutions which can evolve with minimal impact on infrastructure and operations - Conduct organizational analysis - Plan governance model execution and train governance board to be self-sustaining - Identify critical portal application integration issues and recommend solutions - Provide technical recommendations for performance issues including: application integration optimization, platform hardware analysis, architecture optimization techniques, and performance troubleshooting techniques Technical Skills - Experience with one or more Portal and ECM platform: SAP Portal/Netweaver, Plumtree, Vignette, SharePoint, BEA Portal, Websphere Portal, Documentum, FileNet, Hummingbird, Open Text, iManage, eiStream, Captiva, Vignette - Experience with one or more Security tools: IBM/Tivoli Access Manager or Netegrity SiteMinder - Experience with one or more Search tools: Google, Verity, Autonomy, FAST - Experience with one or more Testing tools: Mercury Interactive suite - Bachelor's Degree; an advanced degree or MBAis preferred; 6-10 years of relevant work experience - Candidates must be willing to travel nationally to client locations About DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and its network of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
