Currently, we have a great opportunity for an experienced hands-on professional to assume responsibility for the Tier 1 support of the Amylin Commercial Operation’s data query, analysis and reporting needs.

In this key role, you will:

• Field requests from Commercial Operations Management, Business Analysts, Business Partners and Administrative personnel
• Perform ad hoc SQL querying, report creation and modification, provision data to internal and external customers in a variety of formats, monitor and troubleshoot scheduled event, batch and automated processes, data analysis, data mining and data quality analysis
• Follow through on initial request analysis, the remediation of requests within their skill sets and/or the subsequent routing of the request for appropriate resolution

Ideal candidates will posses:

• 1-2 years of experience supporting a commercial organization’s Business Intelligence needs
• Experience in Oracle Database and Applications, Seibel Analytics, Seibel CRM and Informatica
• Excellent problem solving and written/verbal communication skills
• A strong customer service orientation
• Strong SQL skills, including querying very large Oracle enterprise class relational and dimensional databases and the creation and utilization of database views, stored procedures, functions and packages
• Experience in match-merging large data sets using a combination of name, address, and alpha-numeric identification fields
• A Proven track record with validating the accuracy and completeness of multiple-table database extracts using control totals and other data comparison tools for the purposes of quality control
• Familiarity with ETL development and troubleshooting processes
• Data warehousing development and support of COTS transactional systems such as SAP, JDE, PeopleSoft, Oracle E-Business Suite experience is desired.
