Major Responsibilities:
Essential duties

Creates, maintains and produces sales training materials such as workbooks, facilitator guides, job aids, hands-on exercises, procedures and installation instructions
Designs and develops various types of deliverables for e-learning, self-paced and blended learning solutions and classroom instruction
Develops course materials to support sales training programs by working with subject matter experts at all levels to determine training objectives and outcomes
Continually reviews materials to ensure training program quality and company standards
Updates training programs as necessary to meet the changing business needs
Writes content from technical specifications prepared by engineers
Determines appropriate content for technical training documentation
Prepares and distributes ad hoc urgent documents for curriculum changes and new product updates


Relevant qualifications

· Excellent communication, writing, grammar, editing and proofreading skills

· Able to interact with all levels of personnel

· Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously

· Strong organizational and follow-up skills

· Detail-oriented, independent and able to adjust to changing priorities

· Creative thinker with a good eye for design and presentation

· Able to quickly learn new software and functionality of our products

· Experienced with various graphic file formats and format conversions

· Experience in adult learning theory and practice, instructional design and development, multimedia development, graphic illustration, and technical communication

· Ability to work collaboratively and enjoy working in a fast-paced technical environment



Knowledge/Skill requirements:

· Minimum 3-5 years of instructional design experience

· BA in Education, Instructional Design, Business, or Communications or related experience

· Experience in sales training preferred

· Extensive knowledge of instructional design and delivery, adult learning theories and training evaluation

· Experience in curriculum design, storyboards development and document design

· Advanced knowledge of web-design, graphic-design and layout tools (such as HTML, CSS, Adobe Dreamweaver, Captivate, Flash, In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Articulate Presenter) and delivery to an LMS/LCMS

· Fluent with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint)
