Position Description:

Responsible for assembling, aligning and testing BeadXpress systems components in a production environment. Daily activities include mentoring technicians with less experience, developing and applying assembly standard operating procedures, quality control of optical, electronic, mechanical and fluidic components. Job duties include but are not limited to: · Developing and applying standard operating procedures for instrument or component assembly and alignment .· Developing and applying quality control methods for system components including fluidic components. · Developing and applying quality control of assembly and alignment processes.· Participate in fluidic-mechanical-optical system troubleshootingEducation and Experience:· AA Technical Degree plus 3+ years of hands-on experience. · Candidate must have high level of discipline in carrying out technical activities, developing and following SOPs, and documenting test methods and results· Candidate must be able to work hours that match those of team· Candidate must have good mechanical skills, strong hands-on system assembly experience, and good understanding of the relationship between alignment methods and system performance.
