Primary Function:

Hologic has an exciting opportunity for an Internal Sales Representative (ISR) at our Marlborough, MA campus. The ISR will be responsible for effectively communicating the benefits of the ThinPrep® Pap Test" to physicians and laboratory staff over the phone. Responsible for triaging inbound calls to the proper channels, gathering information from prospects on both inbound and outbound calls, passing appropriate opportunities to the field, and following up with customers and prospects to increase usage of the ThinPrep Pap Test. Data entry is required.

Responsibilities:

" Partnering with their Regional Sales Managers, Account Executives, and Diagnostic Sales Specialists to increase sales and awareness of the ThinPrep Pap Test in their region.
" Increasing the use of the ThinPrep Pap Test through aggressive telephone canvassing in their sales region.
" Handling inbound calls from physicians and laboratories.
" Entering pertinent customer information and lead source information into lead management database.
" Documenting any prospecting work in the database.

Education and/or Experience:

High School Degree or equivalent required. BS Degree or equivalent experience is preferable. Minimum of two years of telemarketing or customer service is required.

" Consistent track record of achievement.
" Telemarketing experience in a high tech environment desirable.
" The candidate will possess excellent phone and computer skills.
" Proven ability to develop good product knowledge to properly position the product.
" Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry is very highly desired.
" The ability to function in a team atmosphere, appreciate aggressive goals, and have superior organizational skills is also desirable.
