International Tax Manager

Summary:
The International Tax Manager is primarily responsible for handling the Company's US compliance activities as they relate to its foreign operations, including the determination of Subpart F income and foreign tax credits. In addition, the position is responsible for preparing Forms 5471 as well as maintaining boycott information. It is also responsible for assisting with transfer pricing responsibilities, including the preparation of proper support documentation. The position is also responsible for assisting with tax audits, FAS 109 and FIN 48 accounting issues and various other projects as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Manages US tax compliance requirements as they relate to the Company's foreign operations, including the determination of Subpart F income and foreign tax credits Prepares Forms 5471 and related forms for the Company's foreign affiliates Gathers and maintains boycott information Assists with transfer pricing responsibilities, including the preparation of proper support documentation (contemporaneous reports, inter-company agreements, etc) Assists with tax audits Assists with FAS 109 and FIN 48 accounting issues, including the calculation and forecasting of the Company's effective tax rate Analyzes new and proposed tax legislation and determines its impact on the Company Provides assistance in determining the tax consequences and risks associated with various business matters, including asset transfers, acquisitions, divestitures, financing alternatives, contracts and licenses Prepares complex calculations, including “what if” scenarios, E&P calculations, FTC forecasting, Effective Tax Rate forecasting to assist in the development of cash management structures and tax reorganizations Performs other related duties as assigned and works closely with the Company's European Tax Manager

Desired Minimum Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. CPA, MBA or MST a plus. At least 6 to 8 years of progressive tax experience in either public accounting and/or private industry (preferably in a manufacturing environment) with both international and domestic responsibilities. International experience is required. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong research, investigative and analytical skills. Strong team-building skills and the proven ability to work with a diverse group of people. Demonstrated leadership skills and focus on exceeding goals and results. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Familiarity with Oracle ERP, Insource RS and CrossBorder Solutions systems a plus 10-15% travel required (will vary dependent upon company activity)
