International Tax Project Manager

In this position, you will be primarily responsible for preparing and / or reviewing the international tax aspects of the provision, SOX, U.S. tax compliance, transfer pricing and audits.Essential Functions:' Responsible for review of quarterly and annual foreign tax provision calculations.' Prepare or review corporate level restructuring and acquisition related tax memoranda, calculations and related tax accounting analyses for international acquisitions and transactions.' Provide training to international finance people who have local country tax provision responsibilities.' Responsible for transfer pricing documentation, intercompany agreements, and related analysis. ' Responsible for U.S. international tax compliance. Review Form 5471s and international tax disclosures for the U.S. Federal tax return.' Involved in restructuring and planning projects, setting up new companies, liquidations, terminations, and prepare / or review analyses related to restructuring, and cash repatriations.' Responsible for international tax requests related to Federal income tax audits.' Involved in complex tax planning projects, perform technical research, draft tax policies, establish SOX controls and meet the SOX compliance requirements. Minimum of 10 years' tax experience with 3 years of corporate international tax experience. U.S. corporate outbound international tax experience is also required. Prefer experience in a Big 4 accounting firm, or in a U.S. multinational corporate environment. Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance is required. Masters in Tax strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of FAS 109, FIN 48 and related SEC tax disclosure rules required. Strong tax research skills, analytical skills and computer skills are essential. Possess the knowledge and ability to research and track developments in international tax law for approximately 40 countries in Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas. Strong writing, verbal and interpersonal skills are required.
