Our Client - Leading pharmaceutical care co, needs 3 Contract Electrical Controls Engineer + Min. 5 yrs. of controls Exp ++ Excellent hour rate + flexible work location + can work from home. JOB Posting #: 1111 - B JOB TITLE: Contract - Electrical Control Systems Engineer QTY: 3 Positions LOCATION: Morristown, NJ RELOCATION: NO  OVERNIGHT TRAVEL:  60% depending on the location. Compensation: $35 - $50 an hr on a W-2 basis (based on experience). All living and travel expenses will be paid by the client directly to the candidate on a regular basis. Duration: 12 months could be extended to 18 months based on client needs and personal performance. Note: Total of (3) positions needs to be filled. The (3) individuals will each cover a particular region of the country and can be physically located anywhere in the vicinity. If convenient, candidate can work from home. Region – East Coast: To cover sites in Richmond VA, Annapolis MD, King of Prussia PA, Long Island NY, Chestnut Ridge NJ & Ocean NJ.  COMPANY INFO: This is a leading pharmaceutical care company with annual sales of $1.5 + Billion, 10,000 + employees, and operations in 47 states, the District of Columbia and Canada. POSITION INFO:   This position will support the project manager, be in charge of a region & its site locations. This position will support the installation, startup & commissioning of new robotic equipment at each of site locations. JOB DESCRIPTION: 50%: Project Management: § Execute multi-discipline solutions for packaging applications from implementation through production support.  § Transfer this knowledge to the customer and manage the system support and life cycle management going forward. § Develop support solutions based on reliability engineering principles and good maintenance practices. 50%: Operations Support:  § Track, analyze and respond to system performance and be the focal point of contact for electrical, controls or software related issues for the installed base. § Coordinate and develop audits with the responsible parties for changes to drawings, software code, components or programs, documentation and spare parts inventory. § Perform process improvement functions. § Establish and manage vendor relationships. Interact with vendors, corporate and site management. CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:  7 - 10 years of professional work experience in the System Integration, Automotive, Semiconductor, Food, Consumer Package Goods or Pharmaceutical Industry. 5+ years of electrical design, controls engineering and software development  PLC & VB programming for automated equipment, packaging equipment or components Engineering change control management and software management tools CANDIDATE-NICE TO HAVE:  Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline Regulated industry experience (FDA, USDA, cGXP) Knowledge of computer system validation, protocol development and test documentation Corporate engineering experience supporting various plant locations Experience with interfacing and integrating to PLC/SCADA/Motion Control systems Experience with robotic pick and place, material handling or secondary packaging systems Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Solid Works, Arena etc. Working knowledge of SQL, VB, batch control system, networking protocols, machine control protocols, and relational database management in addition to software testing experience. Working knowledge of 21CFR11, GAMP4 or equivalent software validation methodologies. Project management and implementation experience of PLC/PC systems in an ISA S88, IEC 1131 or OMAC framework is preferred.
