Junior Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

Our client is a stable, respected manufacturer in Chattanooga, TN, and is seeking an energetic, organized Junior Environmental Health and Safety Specialist.  Excellent training will be provided, as well as an outstanding benefits package.  The salary for this position will be between $45,000 and $55,000 depending upon experience.  The person filling this position will: support all daily interaction, record keeping and reporting for the plant manufacturing facility involving the site NPDES permit assist in all required duties to ensure that the facility is in full compliance with the Site Industrial Pretreatment Permit (POTW) attend and be facility correspondent to LEPC assist in executing the Environmental, Health, and Safety training plan and in testing newly hired employees for comprehension, as well as conducting refresher training for all current employees be responsible for assisting with all interactions and correspondence involving facility Part 70 Title V Permit serve as Hazardous Materials/Waste Responder for the facility be responsible for maintaining data and filing facility Form R Toxic Chemical Release Inventory Report to the EPA maintain and file the EPA, State, and LEPC SARA Title III Section 312 Tier 2 Report be responsible for PMN (Pre Manufacturing Notification) background and filing to the EPA be responsible for Hazardous Communication (MSDS Management) for facility including laboratory perform OSHA audit of facility on a weekly basis and document findings to Senior Management--including the Human Resource Manager assist in ensuring that programs and activities are properly coordinated, internally and externally have the ability to research both environmental, health and safety regulations monitoring notable changes that would affect the direction of current company operation  MRINetwork is the largest and most successful search organization in the world.
