Sales/Retail/Business Development Reference Code: 705309 Key Account Representative - Alternative Channels - (Job Number: 0806072) DescriptionJohnson & Johnson Sales and Logistics Company, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for a Key Account Representative to support Alternative Channels. This position can be based in North Brunswick, NJ, Skillman, NJ, Morris Plains, NJ, or Fort Washington, PA.The Key Account Representative - Alternative Channels is responsible for achieving forecast and OGSM objectives across multiple product groups and customers within the Alternative Channels group of our diverse Specialty business. The range of customers in this group includes the dollar class of trade, online businesses, and category specialty stores (Ulta, Babies R Us, office superstores, etc.). The KAR develops and executes a tactical Customer business plan, based on the 4P's, on product group strategy, and incorporating Customer requirements. The KAR evaluates the results of the plan and makes adjustments to the plan to deliver forecast. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Implementing 4P business tactics to meet Customer and Brand needs; Executing New Product launches at the regional customer level; Managing territory trade funding to support the execution of the customer business plan; Conducting post-promotional analysis to ensure appropriate ROI; Using analytics to support a variety of sales initiatives, including findings and recommendations on the 4Ps; Developing customer and product group-specific sales presentations to gain support for recommendations; Conducting regular meetings with key customer decision makers; Regularly visiting retail locations to gather information on orders and market. A minimum of a 4-yr degree is required. A minimum of 3 years prior experience in customer sales is required. Broad experience across sales, operations, trade and category roles is strongly preferred. Consumer Packaged Goods industry experience is required. Additionally, must possess the ability to positively influence buyers, decision makers and internal business partners up one or more management levels to achieve OGSM, customer business volume plan and positively impact decision making. Demonstrates ability to create fact-based presentations to translate sales data to achieve objectives in line with customer strategy. Ability to develop plans around distribution, merchandising, pricing and planogram placement. Ability to retrieve, prepare and deliver persuasive information in fact-based presentations to gain support for business objectives with customers and internal business partners. Demonstrates competency with internal and syndicated systems, data and content organization and demonstrates ability to support needs of Sales management and make recommendations based on assessment of data, customer and market knowledge. Serves as active and high performing member of a team and works on internal project teams as needed to foster a culture of growth and collaboration with all parties. Represents the face of the company to the trade and the voice of the customer to the company. Must demonstrate the ability to penetrate the appropriate customer, customer team and internal functions to achieve maximum results on sales objectives. Acts with urgency to make the most of opportunities, address customer needs and accomplish goals and objectives on the day to day business needs for Sales including the support of new item launches with excellence on speed to market. Has the ability to complete projects and organize work independently to product stated outcomes as well as the ability to manage funds and resources for the best ROI for the company and analyze data. Can identify risks and opportunities to management and prioritize competing demands for resources of time and money. Ability to accurately forecast volume and/or track specific project to meaningful deadlines.
