Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems provides a single point of contact for Johnson & Johnson products for large managed care, hospital and government customers. The company also offers consulting capabilities for hospital customers and health and fitness services for employers.The LCI role performs a variety of order picking/packing, receiving and housekeeping tasks in accordance with defined job processes with a focus on safety and quality in a 24-hour, global Logistics Center supporting multiple operating company franchises. The Logistics Center Associate I (LCI) will interact with the computer system to perform assigned functions, as well as comprehends and demonstrates compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions. The LCI role is responsible for providing constructive input to enhance the work process/environment by making suggestions and implementing process changes in coordination with the Team Leader to ensure the achievement of the Logistics Center objectives. High school diploma or equivalent degree is required. Minimum of 1 year Logistics/warehouse experience and/or healthcare industry experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to function in a high volume Logistics operation, to read and count accurately, to do simple math and write legibly, and to perform tasks requiring physical abilities. Excellent verbal communication skills and demonstrated collaboration skills - team member; ability to contribute positively to the morale of the team. Knowledge of the customer and customer-focus mentality, and demonstrated flexibility/sense of urgency (Takes direction and accomplishes tasks quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality). Ability to follow policies, SOPs, regulations and legal requirement knowledge and to produce according to established goals and standards. Able to lift at least 50 Lbs on a repetitive basis andto stand and/or walk on concrete floors 75% of the time. Able to bend/twist, perform repetitive tasks, and use all job-related equipment.The work environment is a normal warehouse setting. Travel is not required for this position.
