Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems, located in Memphis TN, provides a single point of contact for Johnson & Johnson products for large managed care, hospital and government customers. The company also offers consulting capabilities for hospital customers and health and fitness services for employers. The Logistics Center Associate II (LCII) will interact with the computer system to perform a variety of tasks in accordance with defined job processes with a focus on safety, quality and good housekeeping in a 24-hour, global Logistics center supporting multiple operating company franchises, as well as comprehend and demonstrate compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions. Tasks may include shipping, receiving, stocking and moving materials. The LC II Associate is responsible for providing constructive input to enhance the work process/environment by making suggestions and implementing process changes in coordination with the Team Leader to ensure the achievement of the Logistics Center objectives.. The successful candidate MUST be able to use forklifts, clamps, banders, wrappers, and other power equipment to load, unload, move, stack and stage product. Maintain DC equipment and materials in a safe, neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods. Keep accurate records and reports to guarantee inventory and security is maintained at all times. Perform quality checks on all orders picked/packed, RO received, put away and replenishments for accuracy. Satisfy completion and certification of all safety, material handling, drug handling, and any other required training as identified by Johnson & Johnson. Perform housekeeping duties as directed to maintain a safe and clean working environment. Requires a HS diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year in distribution/warehouse experience (Healthcare industry experience preferred). Experience operating warehouse equipment to include forklift, hydraulic jack, barcode scanning equipment strongly preferred. This position requires the ability to stand, twist, bend and walk on a repetitive basis on a concrete floor 100% of the time and repetitively lift 50 lbs. Candidate must be able to work occasional weekday and weekend overtime and some holidays. This position requires the candidate to submit to and pass periodic and random drug testing. This position is required to work 3rd shift. Demonstrated ability to function in a high volume Logistics operation, to read and count accurately, to do simple math and write legibly, and to perform tasks requiring physical abilities. Excellent verbal communication skills and demonstrated collaboration skills ' team member; ability to contribute positively to the morale of the team. Knowledge of the customer and customer-focus mentality, and demonstrated flexibility/sense of urgency (Takes direction and accomplishes tasks quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality). Ability to follow policies, SOPs, regulations and legal requirement knowledge and to produce according to established goals and standards.
