Laboratory Administrator- Global Biopharm in Cambridge

Our client, a global biopharm company, is in search of a Laboratory Administrator to join their team. Qualified candidates should have a BS in Chemistry or Biology and be open to a temporary opportunity. This is a 3 month opportunity.

DUTIES >> Seeking a highly motivated laboratory manager to join a team dedicated to the design, development and evaluation of candidate vaccines for immunization of humans against infectious diseases.

The successful candidate will apply their organizational skills to the day-to-day management of a laboratory supporting virology, protein biochemistry and immunological functions.

The candidate will have proficiency with communication and management software and knowledge of ordering database use and inventory control. This position requires excellent organizational skills, independence, enthusiasm and the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.

SKILLS >> This position will rely on administrative skills supporting a research laboratory. Therefore, the candidate should have a sound scientific background.Expertise with Microsoft Office suite, including MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Project is essential. Proficiency with online ordering and inventory tracking systems is required. Experience with project timelines management would be a distinct advantage. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required. Desire to drive cutting edge science and make discoveries towards treating unmet medical needs is essential.

EDUCATION >> BS in biological sciences preferred.
