Forest offers competitive salaries, progressive benefits programs and a supportive work environment that thrives on teamwork.  The following position is available in our growing Pharmaceutical Research & Development Division in Long Island, NY: Laboratory System Scientist (# 92381)Research and DevelopmentFarmingdale/Commack Summary:Supporting and implementing scientific data acquisition application, including validation test script writing and execution.  Description of Duties and Responsibilities:Primary responsibilities include validation and documentation maintenance for various software systems used within the Research and Development Laboratory and evaluation of prospective software packages (e.g., Data Acquisition systems) applicable for the P R&D Laboratory.  Other responsibilities include general administration and maintenance of scientific software used within the P R&D Laboratory.   Requirements:· BS/MS in a scientific discipline with 5-10 years as a chemist/scientist working with laboratory data acquisition systems supporting Gas Chromatography, High Pressure Liquid Chromatography, Mass Spec.
