With its US headquarters in the Greater Boston area and its international headquarters in Europe, the company operates a global distribution network, which covers over 70 countries.  They are currently in an extraordinary growth spurt and are expanding into small molecule drug technology.  To help support this growth, they have identified the need for a LEADER OF THE PACK IN  SMALL MOLECULES CMC PROGRAMS to provide strategic and operational leadership of Small Molecules CMC Teams integrating pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and regulatory line functions for early and late stage small molecule development programs. Job Description The LEADER OF THE PACK IN SMALL MOLECULES CMC PROGRAMS will: Provide leadership to multi-discipline teams for early and late stage small molecule development programs. Develop, maintain and communicate product development plans, milestones, schedules, and budgets. Develop risk mitigation strategies, facilitate and guide decision making  and communicate key information to team members, decision makers, and functional leaders. Support the Director, CMC Program Management in defining the structure and operating principles for global small molecule CMC teams and interface with corporate Program Teams, Therapeutic Areas and Strategic Business Units Develop business processes and systems to support  and streamline CMC Team activities, working with the European facilities to implement them, in accordance with metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
