Life Sciences Sales Representative

We are currently looking for an experienced, Life Sciences Sales Representative to promote our entire Food Safety product line (Real Time PCR equipment and consumables) to government, food, environmental, water and industrial clients in and around the assigned territory.

Position:

·  Drive sales of capital equipment (Real Time PCR) and its corresponding line of consumables to Food, Water and Environmental clients in and around the assigned territory.

·  Initiate the sales process, develop a win-win scenario for all parties involved and closing of large ticket items.

·  Manage overall business relationships in key accounts while growing existing business.

·  Responsibilities will include product and application presentations, and the preparation of bids, quotes, and proposals.

 

Qualifications: 

·  BS or higher in the Life Sciences, Chemistry or Food Sciences is strongly preferred.

·  Previous successful, sales experience of capital equipment in the Life Science and/or Analytical Instrumentation industries is required.

·  Key account knowledge within the assigned territory and the Food industry is beneficial

·  2-5 years of R&D (in particular PCR, Real Time PCR, and/or Food Safety) laboratory experience would be helpful

·  Ability to travel within the assigned territory (approximately 50-70%) is required. 

 

Compensation:
