As our Logistics Planner, located in Sunnyvale, CA. you will work as a vital member of our planning team and be held responsible for the daily planning activities supporting the domestic and international delivery of field replacement units (FRU) for our one-of-a-kind da Vinci Surgical System. Your detail oriented nature will be encouraged as you manage inventory levels with our third party vendors, field service technicians and in-house team. Surgical robotics was little more than a medical curiosity until 1999, the year Intuitive Surgical, Inc. (Nasdaq: ISRG) introduced the da Vinci Surgical System. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory and cycle counts for our field replacement units. We will count on your prior success managing the planning responsibilities of both domestic and international third party and in-house warehouses as well as your experience driving policy and process improvements. Your honed and persuasive communication skills will allow you to quickly and easily develop strong relationships with our field service engineers, customer service representatives and third party vendors. Prior experience planning capital equipment maintenance, reconciling cycle count programs and delivering and maintaining Kanbans will ensure you are up to speed quickly on our existing procedures.
