MANAGER - PRODUCT QUALITY (PHARMACEUTICALS) - JEGPRA

Our client is a rapidly growing pharmaceutical company in Parsippany, New Jersey that is looking to add a Manager - Product Quality to join their team.This person will manage the development and implementation of quality, disease management programs and policy initiatives for a new product and the resulting implications for the brand within contracting and national healthcare quality programs. In this position you will be the primary product contact responsible for the business-to-business relationships with organizations such as NCQA, CMS’s Quality Team, AHQA, JCAHO and NQF and act as a key business partner to the company's Medical Affairs Pharmacoeconomic Teams.Responsibilities: You will manage the development, creation and implementation of a healthcare quality plan to support launch of this new product. You will be responsible for staying current on regulatory guidelines, market trends, and competitive activity and the implications of such on company policies. You will direct the development of the annual product Managed Care quality strategy and collaborate with the Medical Affairs Pharmacoeconomic Team, Healthcare Services Marketing Team, product Brand teams and co-promote partner(s) in order to maximize profit, access and market share in managed care accounts via disease management and quality initiatives. You will be responsible for generating primary and secondary data points to support strategies through market research, modeling, advisory boards, and Account Manager feedback mechanisms. You will be the primary contact and liaison for the product's quality initiatives with organizations like NCQA, JCAHO, AHQA and work closely with Medical Affairs to interact with NQF. You will be responsible for use of education, market research, and advisory board programs to drive policy recommendations within targeted quality organizations. You will work with Managed Care National and Region Director(s), Corporate Account Managers (CAMs), and Regional Account Managers (RAMs) to assist in the practical applications of managed care Disease Management and quality initiatives as part of successful account management. You will also be responsible for training Managed Care and other key functions on programs, materials and legislative efforts that support the company's access and therapeutic class growth within quality programs. In this position you will be accountable for the training materials to account managers that will increase core competencies and improve the quality of account calls and business acumen relating to health outcomes and quality programs.You will be responsible for the analysis and recommendation of quality programs to enhance the access and partnership status of the company's Managed Care Field Managers including CAMs and RAMs. This contribution will be balanced by an equally important role in understanding how the quality management guidelines have implications on pricing and contract strategy, especially in pipeline products. By developing strategies that influence clinical, performance and quality measures, you will have a profound effect on the market conditioning for the company's. Lastly, you will need a strong quality of measures to support the expanded use of the therapeutic classes of the company.Education/Experience Requirements: Qualified candidate must have a Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred. You must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in: Pharmaceutical Managed Care Sales, Account Management, Managed Care, and/or Marketing. Prior experience in pharmaceutical sales preferred as well as experience in Pharmaceutical Sales Management, Market Development, Marketing Research and/or Brand Marketing.
