MANUFACTURING ASSOCIATE - PHARMACUETICAL

Functions/ Duties:

 

Entry level position in the Manufacturing group. Progressing through a number of job functions and will be required to demonstrate increasing skill levels while demonstrating leadership capabilities.

 

A. Assist in performing the manufacturing area sanitization according to approved procedures.

 

B. Perform operations in the Labeling / Packaging Area.

 

Normal duties include: Line clearance / release * Batch record documentation, including sample retention * Labeler operation * Package assembly * In-process inspection * Checkweigher operation * Stretchwrapper / shrink tunnel operation * Pallet loading in approved patterns * Transport of product to refrigerated environment

 

C. Perform limited support of other areas of manufacturing, as required (traying off vials, sanitization).

 

D. Learn and become competent in the manufacturing area sanitization procedures. This will include the Packaging, Clean room and Aseptic areas.

 

E. Become certified for entry into the Aseptic Core to be able to perform the sanitization functions.

 

F. Learn the functions necessary to work in the * Capping * Vial Wash * Packaging Operations * On / Off Line Vial Inspection and Equipment* Component Preparation. This will include the operations of pieces of equipment associated with the area. Assigned job duties are within the manufacturing and Aseptic areas, and will be expected to begin the learning and training process to acquire proficiency in this area as well.

 

G. Other duties as assigned by their supervisor. Critical Skills required:

*Have recent experience working in/with a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company.

A. Must posses the ability to understand and comply with all company procedures and GMP compliance policies.

 

B. Must possess adequate math skills to be able to accurately perform or check the calculations required in the manufacturing documentation.

 

C. Must be able to understand and follow detailed instructions, both written and verbal.

 

D. Must be able to lift and move large heavy objects, utilizing mechanical assists (pallet jack). Individual lifting not to exceed 40 pounds.

 

E. Must be able to grasp and manipulate small objects.

 

F. Must possess basic mechanical skills and abilities.
