MES Engineer

MISSION:

Lead and coordinate projects related to the PROMIS-MES in support of established objectives for the production of amorphous silicon flat panel detectors. Sustain/support the MES system, support implementation and expansion of PROMIS, and drive best practices and procedures.

 



OWNERSHIP:

· Support manufacturing teams implementing the PROMIS MES

· Support manufacturing teams in developing and tracking manufacturing metrics within PROMIS MES

· Support and train Engineering and Operations in expanding PROMIS deployment

· Utilize principals of 6-Sigma in the execution of MES and other operational responsibilities

· Develop schedules to meet milestone objectives in assigned projects and tasks

· Provide timely and effective communication of important technical, and operational issues to the leadership team

·  Champion the best manufacturing and engineering practices and tools

 



REQUIRED SKILLS:

· BS or equivalent in Math, Physics, or Engineering

· Expert level knowledge of PROMIS (or equivalent MES) - PROMIS strongly desired

· Expert level knowledge and experience in computer systems

· Experience with database applications, such as SQL

· Knowledge and familiarity with semiconductor fabrication processes

· Knowledge of Six Sigma tools– GB/BB preferred

· Excellent organizational skills

· Excellent written and oral communication skills
