Maintenance Electrician

Qualifications

 You will be responsible for Installing, repairing and performing preventative, corrective and troubleshooting maintenance required to upkeep production and building electrical equipment including AC & DC drives, PLC and other systems controls required. 

 Familiarity with Allen Bradley and/or Siemens Controls Perform special projects as assigned.

 Must be able to read electrical drawings applying to the trade and be able to sketch circuits or ideas. 

 Provides information to Engineering on all field changes to insure master electrical drawings are maintained correct and up-to-date.

 Maintain any logs or records required by State or Federal codes, or company procedures.

Adheres to a uses safe work practices, following safety rules and regulations.  Reports unsafe conditions or work practices to supervisor. 

 Maintain adequate electrical supplies and repair parts to service machinery and prevent any prolonged down time.

 Order or request supplies for jobs.

 Strong communication and interpersonal (written and verbal) skills desired. 

 Willing to work flexible hours, overtime and weekends.

 Other responsibilities or duties as required or requested.

 We are looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of journey level industry maintenance electrician experience.

 Licensed Electrician, knowledge of electrical codes and solid understanding of N.E.C. Regulations. 

 High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
