Maintenance Mechanic A Requisition Number: 21794BR This position is responsible for maintenance and service of plant mechanical systems and equipment used in the production and packaging of vaccines.  This is done to ensure a high degree of safety, quality and productivity.  Daily activities in this position would include, but not limited to: mechanical and machine component repair mechanical fluid and utility systems troubleshooting machine modifications and improvements; fabrication, machining, welding, installation or rearrangement of new or existing equipment total plant and facility maintenance Position will receive on-going training to provide multi-crafted skills within the Maintenance department. Work Schedule:  Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm, overtime if required, rotating weekend duties.Qualifications- High School diploma or G.E.D with trade school, certifications, or college level courses related to construction/maintenance trades- Minimum of five years work experiences in two or more of the following trades: HVAC, plumbing, boilers, refrigeration, Siemens building control systems, Allen Bradley controls, electrical, welding- Ability to work unsupervised- Ability to work well with others and act as team worker- Valid driver s license- Ability to read and interpret blue-prints/schematics- Must be able to meet all physical requirements associated with this jobAs part of the Schering-Plough team, you’ll benefit from strong leadership, a new vision and an empowering corporate culture while enjoying competitive compensation and a progressive benefits package.Schering-Plough is an equal opportunity employer.
