The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of facility, utility, and manufacturing equipment. Some activities involve working in a Clean Room environment. The individual will perform building, utility and equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on a variety of facility and utility equipment that includes but is not limited, DI/RO water systems, low pressure boilers, cooling towers, humidifiers, emergency generator/UPS systems, movement and arrangement of furniture and office equipment as well as, plumbing, electrical and minor construction work. The candidate will have basic knowledge of clean room and HVAC operation and have the ability to read and interpret blue prints and drawings. The individual will perform equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on a variety of manufacturing equipment including but not limited to automated cutting machines, bar sealers, band sealers, pumps, mixers, low voltage wiring, pneumatics, control systems and variable frequency drives. The individual will have the ability to read and interpret control wiring schemes, drawings and blueprints. A High School diploma with Trade School experience is required. A minimum of 5 years of related industry experience is required. HVAC experience is preferred. Plumbing, electrical and low voltage electrical experience are all required. Welding experience is preferred. Knowledge of MS Suite of products is required. Knowledge of CAD and MS Visio is preferred. Prior CMS experience is preferred. The position will be based in Mountain View, CA and is a day shift position and will also require some swing and weekend work, requiring on-call duties for any emergencies during off hours and weekends.
